Ok, I know this is a Chanel Classic Bag, but is it the 'Large Flap Bag' as seen in Yellow on the Chanel website, or is it something else?? I have no clue about Chanel's classic range of bags, 2.55 reissue or whatever..no idea (if anyone wants to explain I wouldn't mind ) What's the caviar leather / lambskin all about? Is there a difference? How many different 'Large Flap Bag's classic styles are there?

If anyone knows exactly which Chanel Classic this is....I want to save up for one.

This is what is generally known as a "Classic Flap Bag," the "2.55 Reissue Flap Bag" is structured a bit differently and doesn't have a CC lock. They come in lots of different sizes (hers looks like it's probably a large, they come both bigger and smaller) and most commonly in caviar or lamb leather. Caviar is tougher and pebbled, and it's much more durable. Lamb is smooth and very soft, but is also much less durable. They also come in both silver and gold hardware and a variety of colors.

Looks like a Medium size to me. She's petite (5' 1") and skinny, which makes the bag appear larger on her though.

5"1' with 2" platforms and 4" heels. lol. The body guard must be big and she's almost as tall as him. I'm with Amanda on this. Good call on the large Chanel classic flap bag Amanda. You know your bags.

Okay, I might have confused Large and Medium sizes here, I have a Medium one myself, or so I thought but I guess it's a Large then. Good to know.

I always thougt Large and Jumbo was the same, but Jumbo must be the largest one - the one with a more 'boxy' shape?

Actually... I think she has the jumbo. M/L wouldn't look that big. I have both the m/l and jumbo, and about the same size as gaga.

Maxi (12") is the largest, followed by jumbo (11"), M/L (10"), East/West(10" but shorter), S/M (9"), Mini (6.5").

Some ppl call the m/l medium or large, but jumbo is always called the jumbo.
Caviar leather is a more durable leather which has that pebbled texture like amanda said, lambskin is a smooth, luxurious leather, but some ppl think it's harder to maintain.

The most popular size will be the jumbo and m/l, lambskins are more expensive than caviar. There was a price increase in Feb., the new price of jumbo caviar $2995, lambskin $3250 i believe. M/L caviar $2600, lambskin $ 2850. All before tax.
