It doesn't look like Chanel particuliere to me. I have a similar shade of grey, I got it at duane read like a month ago for only $2.49!!! It's not branded, it just says nail hardner. I'm wearing it right now and I love it! Great quality for only $2.49!!

There was a roundup of taupe polishes over on the Vampy Varnish blog recently:

It looks like some overall lightening of the color was done to the photo but it looks closest to American Apparel Mouse or Color Club High Society.

I feel like it looks like a "matte" polish. But that's not really indicative of a certain polish since you can buy a matte top coat to convert your polish into a matte finish. I think it could be Essie's Chinchilly? Or Deborah Lippman's Waking Up in Vegas.

It doesn't say in the magazine what her make up is? Or does it only mention her face makeup and not her nail polish?

^^ Essie's Chinchilly is definitely a possibility. I forgot about that one.

A lot of times, if the makeup artist is looking for something in particular and can't find it, they make up their own franken polish for the shoot.

Thank you so much! I've never spent $16 on a nail polish, but I know if I don't get it now I'll regret it once it's sold out.
