I like it. I don't think it will necessarily retain its value better than some other colors, but the Lady Dior is abosutely a classic.
It is a seasonal variant of a classic bag. It's pretty--but it is trendy.
Do you think this is a nice color? If you do, then you should buy it.

If you absolutely love it, get it. If you just like it, think again. I find that the pieces I got when I loved it then always stay. If I had any doubts or didn't love it that much, it usually ended up in the dust pile.
One way to test out if I love something enough is to wait. Though I understand that you might worry that it won't be available anymore. As I get older, I just think that I'll be fine without a bag and I'm sure there will be nice ones coming out in the future. For me I don't really care about the trend. If I love something, I love it, not because its on trend or not. I think the colour gradient looks quite subtle so if the whole outfit goes together, I don't see it becoming outdated. But that's just my personal opinion.
I have a nano sized (not available anymore) gradient one that I absolutely loved when I got it and it's still my favourite. I actually didn't get it when it was out in the boutique. Very luckily, I saw one few years later in a consignment store and got it without hesitation haha.

It’s beautiful. But to stay on the safe side with fashion trends ever changing. Would be best in my opinion to by a classic blue. The gradient may become outdated in years to come
