I searched for this question. It seems nobody has started this thread yet. Apologies if I only overlooked.

The other day I went to Christian Dior shop and tried the Lady Dior in medium size, lambskin shw. It made my heart sing :smile:

My question is what are the differences between new lady dior and vintage ones. It seems that I can save a lot buying vintage but I havent seen vintage in real life.

Perhaps anyone can share the difference between a new one and vintage? TIA!

Agree about the flaps vs zipper. Also, I think the gold hardware on the vintage bags was more yellow gold (especially noticeable in the black lambskin bags), while the gold hardware on more recent bags is more of a lighter champagne gold. On the medium bags, the straps were also changed to be a little broader and adjustable, but that seems to be a relatively recent change.

Hi! At what year did they change from zipper to flap? Did they also add feet?
