Lady dior small black ultra matte black hardware or lambskin with ghw leather?

Hi!
This will be my first dior bag. I'm looking into either a lambskin with ghw black small lady dior or ultra matte lady dior bag cannage quilt bag. Which should I get? Are there any cons to the matte leather with matte black hardware?

Also, how hard is it to clean the ultra matte?

I know a few years ago people had issues with the black hardware scratching, I'm not sure if it's still an issue currently.

Agreed. This definitely seemed to be an issue that many of the designers had with black hardware. For that reason alone, I’d stick with the gold.

I just also have to throw out ruthenium as a suggestion. My (medium) LD has ruthenium hardware, and it’s kind of like the best of both worlds!

I tried on the ultra matte , definitely something super special and edgy. However the matte surface is A lint magnet , even the sa told me to ignore the white dust. And oily fingers will leave some marks

If you are getting only one Dior bag, I think the classic lamb skin is more versatile.
If you are building a collection the all black is something unique. I’m actually eyeing the new d side in all black as that is crinkled calf without the issues above

I would opt for the lambskin in your case. My personal preference, however, is the black patent!

Another vote for the lambskin as it’s your first Dior bag and you won’t be as likely to grow tired of it. I like the look of the ultra matte styles but I think it’s more of a trend

Lambskin with GHW is a classic.

I've had my ultra matte black Diorama WOC for over 5 years and have not had any issues with the hardware. I wear it crossbody for both day and night wear and have not had any difficulty with keeping it clean.

Same XP as above poster, I have the ultra matte LD in grey and haven’t had any issues with the charms or leather. Also used Cadillac leather conditioner on it and it didn’t change or affect the matte effect. It’s one of my fav bags still and use it often.
