Lady Dior or Alma BB?

I don't have any black bags (recently sold my only black bag) and was thinking of getting a Lady Dior but on a whim tried Alma bb in epi black and I really liked it. I haven't tried the Lady Dior. I think it's beautiful but a bit dressy looking and my life is very casual. I only wear top handle and crossbody so they both would work. I thought the Alma bb would look too kiddish but I was pleasantly surprised and of course, there's the huge price difference. What do you think? Do you think they are somewhat comparable in terms of usage? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! TIA

Thank you for the response. I guess I would have to try it to see what I like. I do think it's more luxurious than the Alma, but Alma has its own pro of being able to be thrown around, more carefree and easy going.

The small Lady Dior comes in patent leather as well. If you get it in a dark colour, then it can be harder wearing than lambskin.

Lady Dior bags also come in calfskin which are harder wearing than the traditional lambskin.

Alma always seemed more on the classier side to me, because of its shape. The Lady Dior, however, is a lot more casual and dressy at the same time, if that makes sense? Like loves said, it has a younger vibe.

Patent is out but I'm definitely not well educated about the different options. There are no CD boutique where I live so I'll be sure to research before making the 1hr+ drive. Thank you for the info!

I recently bought a small My ABCDior. I bought it for exactly the same reason it can transition from a casual vibe due to it’s thicker strap and it can be personalized with the badges. I’ve also used it for a more formal event and it was the perfect size. It’s not as common as the Alma too. I guess they mean by a younger vibe that it’s trendy but it can still hold it’s own due to it’s classic silhouette. Hope this helps.

another vote Dior. My Lady Dior small size or the mini :amuse: I have the small, and I find it looks more casual for sure. Especially b/c of the thick strap, which I prefer to wear crossbody.
