Happy new year everyone!

I have a bit of a silly question not sure if anyone may feel similar and maybe even found a hack around it, so here goes:

I just got a preloved small lady dior, and watched videos and knew the handles would be a bit cumbersome but only thought that only was the con when placing them on surface (if not properly balanced the bag will fall).

But my annoyance is when carrying the bag crossbody or shoulder using the bag strap the handles just flop outwards - is there like cute bag clips to keep them together? Lol I know, so silly, but just honestly curious.

Thank you!

I haven't tried clips (thinking something like the Gucci Diana right?) but there's a way of clipping the straps to the handles so that the strap keeps the handles upright when you're wearing on shoulder. Hard to explain.. check out this Tik Tok:

Ohhh thank you so much! I never realized that clipping them on the outside of the opposite ends would make a difference! I’ve been clipping them inside lol thank you!!

Agreed! This is what I have been doing too. The downside can be that the handles can get in the way when you need access to the interior of the bag.

I love the lady Dior but hated the handles so much I ended up selling the bag to Fashionphile a couple years ago.

In addition to the two issues you mentioned, mine would get “stuck” on the oval rings so I would have to jiggle them to get them to the top of the oval so I could carry the bag upright. Way too fussy for me. Good luck!

I love when annoying problems have simple solutions!
I knew someone would be able to answer this silly question of mine so thank you again!

I know! I just accept that none of my bags are actually practical and it's just to look nice with the outfit 😅

I love the look of the lady dior and pre-loved prices were good so I bit the bullet but it is honestly a love-hate relationship, it is probably one of the fussiest bags I've owned lol
