Ok. I have been wanting to get the Cartier LOVE Bracelet in white gold for over a year now, ever since I first discovered it!
My boyfriend said that he would like to buy it for me one day, but honestly... I think that I would like to buy it for myself.
I have already watched it JUMP in price (I noticed how it JUMPED in price just recently, I am VERY irked). And it goes up by about $500 (of course I want the white gold one...).
I am so mad that I didn't buy it for myself on my 35th birthday back in February.
What do you think about buying it for yourself? I can afford it... Since it has already jumped in price, I HOPE it won't go up again by my next birthday this upcoming February! Does anyone know if Cartier goes up in price more than once a year?
I know my boyfriend said he wanted to buy it, but he is not making enough money to really afford it anytime soon. Maybe in 5 to 10 years, but not right now. :shucks: By the time he will be able to afford it, I am afraid that it will just be too damn ridiculous of a price, and I don't want to wait around for some man to buy it for me just because I am supposedly supposed to?
I just want to add that it really really bothers me that the prices have gone up so much. Is there any justifiable explanation for it?

DarkAngel, you should absolutely but yourself this love bracelet. There is one thing you can count on , and that is this bracelet will always be from someone you love, yourself:D
In this day and age, I feel we women are free to buy ourselves any jewelry we want, we earn it, we can buy it!

Your boyfriend is really sweet, but there are many other jewellery he can get for you later. Like a diamond solitaire ;) If I were you, I'd run out now and buy it for myself. If you can afford it, why wait? Where I'm from (not the US), there's going to be another price increase in January. Not sure if it's going to be worldwide.

I too purchased the yg love bangle about a month ago as like the other ladies said I do love myself lol ha ha. maybe the next one I get ill let DH buy it for me, I asked Cartier when there prices were due to go up & they said in January but I live in the UK so it maybe different in the USA I would ask them just incase you wouldnt want to pay more in February, you could allways get an early birthday present from yourself.:woohoo:

Absolutely buy it! I have it and can't tell you how precious it is to me and how much I enjoy wearing it. Maybe one day, your BF can buy you the matching band ring (which is a lot cheaper...)

I bought mine for my 50th and have NO regrets whatsoever, only joy in wearing it everyday. My husband is very generous and would of bought it had I asked but this was actually something I wanted to do for myself......I love this bangle (no pun intended - :)). Get it! Enjoy it!

I'd buy it myself if I were you :yes:. Especially because you really like it. So you can better buy it now before any price increase. Besides, your boyfriend can always buy you something else later ;).
