LA Earthquake

As of this writing 4.4 magnitude quake which happened 13 minutes ago in the greater LA area (near Montebello).

Crazy times we're living in. That probably won't be the last of it. But we'll make it through.

Anyone else from LA feel it? I bet every other LA tpf'er is fast asleep right now!

I felt it while half asleep in bed. Somehow it didn't feel strong enough to make me want to run for cover but still it was scary.

It was the first earthquake I've slept through.

Very scary with all these earthquakes, lately!

I was up which is probably the only reason why I felt it. It was an "average" quake but still concerning taken in context with all the disastrous earthquakes that hit Haiti, Chile, and Turkey.

According to the article: There is a chance that Tuesday's temblor is a precursor to a larger event, but the likelihood diminishes over time.

It woke me up. I grabbed my daughter like a ragdoll out of bed I was so scared. With all the other earthquakes I thought that was just the beginning.

A 4.4 isn't that large but it was 12 miles deep. It occurred on the Whittier Fault.

It woke me and my roommate up from a sound sleep and some of our pictures came down from the walls too.... Scary but not too scary.
