There are a lot of them on the preloved market, so it’s fair to say that they were not made in a small amount. As mentioned before, LV doesn’t release production numbers so you may never know how many were manufactured. If you want an idea of value, the last ones that sold on eBay went for an average of $500. Some for less and some for more depending on condition. I can’t help you with the original price, however some members own catalogs from the period so they might be able to chime in.
