Ran across one today, (Tjmaxx) in the rose/silver combo.. had everything including dustbag and info on the Garcia leather?

I like the shape and the outside pocket! Color is kinda fun without being to out there.

Anyone have one? feedback?

I truly haven't a clue on the Garcia that is the card that was inside i have no reason to feel it was misplaced as everything else was there(dustbag, tag etc)

I do have the info.. i brought it home to have a think on it.. lol

it says 19293

Was it this color? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-19293...573?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item233f2eabad

This is the third generation. There wasn't much excitement on the forum for these because for some unknown reason, Coach decided to design these without the comfy strap. When I bought my Kristin in 2011, I asked the SA why they were so popular. She said it was because of the comfy strap. Once I tried it on, I understood. It was made of thick soft squishy leather.

When they came out with the third generation, not only was the comfy strap gone, but the colors were kind of boring. They were all variations of beige. They didn't stay in FP long. It was like Coach wanted them to fail. They killed the Kristin line after that. I guess they had some that were still in production at the time because they put factory creeds on them and sold them in factory stores.

I'm biased because of the strap but other than that, it is a very nice bag. There were some problems with the clasps but I think that was mostly on the early models. I never had a problem with mine.

TJ Maxx doesn't usually have prices as good as factory.

No it's called Rose pink? on the tag.

Yes, it does have the 'newer' variation of the handle i can see after going through the older thread that they had a more squishy variety at one time.

I agree usually Factory is better than Tjmaxx but this was more half off original price of 300$.

I'll see if i can do some pics tomorrow.. way to dark and the horrible cold we're in is slowing my internet to a snails pace ..:p

I see nothing to show it's a factory bag either...

I recall that the first generation of Kristin bags were made of Juno leather, which was a thick, chewy, durable leather. Some of the very early 1st generation bags were goat leather, which was really lovely and thick (but also heavy).

I'm not sure about the other generations.

I love the Kristin line.

I haven't seen them to compare... as i said this included that card, stating the Garcia leather, it seems everything was intact, all stuffing, dust bag so i cannot see how that card would show up... but who knows, right? lol

Okay grabbed some pics today.

That's a beautiful shade of pink!!! I love the Kristin line. Always have. It still looks classic and gorgeous today.

I don't think any of the Kristins had Garcia leather. I've owned 8 or 9 Kristins and also several bags with Garcia leather, and the leather is NOT the same. Someone could easily have put a leather care card from a different bag into the Kristin, it's not as if they're hermetically sealed.

Here's Coach's page for the Leather Hobo 19293

As i have stated several time i have no clue, all the packaging seems intact but ANYTHING is possible with the card detailing the leather...

I don't honestly care one way or the other it was simply a comment in regards to the cards existence.

This color is called Rose however... not that it necessarily makes any difference in regards to what the leather is, i don't believe i see it listed on the picture you showed.

I agree with Hyacinth, the bag isn't made of Garcia leather. That card was put into the bag by mistake. Usually for a style number, the details, including the type of leather, is the same regardless of the color.

It is beautiful bag, though. I find Kristin to be a very useful size. The outside pocket is so handy.

For the mini duffle, it helps to downsize your wallet. I used to carry zip around accordion wallets like yours. I switched to the soft wallet, which is still long, so I don't have to fold my cash, but doesn't take up as much room. I've got mine loaded up now with my slim wallet, phone, card case, coin purse, cosmetic case and phone card case. It's amazing what I can fit.

If Rose wasn't available at the time that page was on the website then the color wouldn't be listed. Color availability often changed over the course of a style's existance, it doesn't mean anything.
