Knot minaudiere clutch

What’s is people’s thought on the minaudiere knot clutch? Is that a classic BV bag?
I am looking to purchase one but I am not sure about whether they are delicate (as it is in lambskin)?
Does people wear theirs often?

I examined in the store and didn't fall in love with it. The leather is very stiff and the clasp is awkward. i like the look of it, though.

The knot is very popular. It’s been on my list forever, but I haven’t gotten around to deciding which one. I’m partial to lamb, and I find my Chanel lamb (both bags and RTW) hold up well

Mine is not lamb, but it is the original size. It's gorgeous if I can edit my things down to a minimum. I find the clasp very easy.

The Andiamo is slightly more roomy, but everything needs to pack flat.

I'm a BV knot collector. Personally, everyone should have a knot in their bag wardrobe
The BV knot is classic, wearable, takes you from day into evening, formal or informal,
colors, skins & sizes perfect to accommodate most of your bag needs & really
"what's knot to love"..JMO

A knot is always a good idea! I have a grosgrain stretch Knot, one of my best luxury purchases.

I agree with the others - a Knot is a classic. If I have a dressy occasion, I carry one of my Knots. I'll sometimes pair one with jeans too.

The newer Knot clutches by outgoing CD Matthieu Blazy are roomier, and a redesign of the original. Those will fit a phone easily.

Most us of us responding know and love the Tomas Maier Knots. I have four of the regular size, and one Stretch Knot from his tenure. The Stretch Knots will fit a phone, but the standard sizes are questionable. I can squeeze my phone in my standard Knots if I remove the case, but it does not clasp easily with my phone.

I think both versions are gorgeous, but I have a preference for all the gorgeous Tomas Maier designs I find on the secondary market. If it's an occasion piece for you, and you prefer not to pay full price, I recommend looking at preloved.

A forever classic. I definitely prefer the TM era version. Works of art. The new ones while practical in size are so heavy it feels like you would be lugging around a brick. Better options out there.

If BV I would suggest to go classic on the pre loved market and just leave the phone at home .

Agree, pre-loved is the way to go unless you have really large hands…the current style does seem too big and is very heavy.

Also love the knot but I also have the older versions before they re-released it starting a couple of years ago
