The sides are folded in, the bottom folded up towards the top (with a press stud) which folds down. It's styled like Japanese Origami so all four corners would end up overlapping, without any open gaps.

I thought so. Knowing my luck I'd lose little things through the folds!

I'm already thinking I can stuff my stationery and stamps in there. As of now, it's always shuffled between various notebooks I carry and it's so inconvenient and inefficient for my lifestyle. I'll forgive the color scheme and put this on my "to buy" list.

Yeah. I was considering checking these out until I saw the interiors. Interest has been quashed.

I just wish there wasn't such an overlap. I wanted the top and bottom pieces to line up flush against the main part. I wonder how durable the interior is, especially after repeated opening and closing of the item.
