This kind of stuff goes on all the time over there, it sounds terrible but I believe that they are also a food source for some people

*ugh* well if this is "bush meat" then it has been going on for years and years. It's not any less shocking though. It's considered a delicacy in some of the nearby towns, creating more of a demand for it. Some people there kill them for survival, others for profit.
