Michael Kors khaki or navy?

I am considering getting a selma in grommets, but can't decide on the color. Should I go Navy/ gold grommets and be blingy or khaki/gold grommets and be more subdued- the hardware is almost the same color as the bag. I also want something that will last. Will the khaki show the wear much faster?
