As I try to outrun my temptation to buy The Row Margaux 15 (that price tag!!), I’m looking for somewhat similar totes in a smooth leather, tan/cognac color.

The Khaite Amelia tote is a contender. Anyone have experience with bags from this brand, or have the Amelia? Trying to avoid obvious branding.

I've had my Khaite Olivia bag for 10 months. Still looks as good as the day I got her. I even intentionally tried to scratch the leather with my long nails (underside of the handle) and nothing. Very happy with the quality and craftsmanship. Definitely don't regret the purchase. Like you, I love the extremely minimal branding.
