I recently got my driver's license! It's whole other story why I only got my license this late in life, but one of the things I motivated myself was that I would get some sort of key pouch as a present to myself should I pass.
Naturally and the reason I posted in the LV forum, I thought of the LV canvas key pouch that everyone says it's so hard to get but so versatile. But I also don't know if that is what I wanted to go for.
A couple of things I was wondering: The cars I've driven for lessons are older models that have the traditional keys. While I haven't thought about buying a car yet, I was wondering if there's any type of key pouch I should or shouldn't consider based on the type of car keys and its size? I've heard of cars that have a button and no keys, so is it pointless to even get a key pouch? I am leaning on getting some sort of key pouch because in addition to holding the car key, it can hold some coins or card (preferably card). I'm not considering keychains because there's no other function to it for me.
Second and more fun question is, does anyone recommend any type of key pouch for car keys whether it is LV or other brands? I poked around the Dior and Fendi site and didn't find anything. I saw that Gucci has a few but I'm generally not crazy about Gucci (although the Ophida GG key pouch looks practical). I'm open to Chanel although I doubt I'd get anything lambskin for this purpose. Obviously, I know about the LV canvas key pouch, which I think it's the most affordable compared to similar luxury brands. I was also eyeing the new key pouch in empreinte in navy blue. It looks sparkly somehow in the pictures and I wonder if any of those pearly sparkle will rub off over time. it's also considerably more than the canvas version at $410.
Appreciate any insights people have!
