Is this a good price? I'm not familiar with the pricing of vintage H Kelly handbags. I love this bag, but the gold hardware is not my preference.

You won't get the Lindy for the price of this Kelly. The cheapest/best priced Lindy I have seen recently started at 3500.

I think the price is ok.

My only advice would be to think twice if you REALLY like the bag.. I prefer palladium hardware and once bought a Birkin with gold and ended up regretting it quite a lot... Nowadays I like some colors with gold hw and find them gorgeous, but still use them much less than the ones with silver palladium. ... I hope you will love your new bag, is it in the end this Kelly or another one!

^^^^Thanks, Diamond. My thoughts exactly....I do wear yellow gold jewelry, but I wear white gold and platinum most of the time. I have view this purse in rouge and phw; it tends to have a modern appearance to me.
