good to know about evercolor. I always scratch my head about what the leather will be like years down the road when H introduces new (to me) leathers... just makes me nervous. In my experience togo has proven better. I have a togo bag that looks brand new after years of use; my evercolor bag showed wear and floppiness much faster. I also find the evercolor leather heavier when empty, but perhaps that is just me. I prefer the feeling of evercolor but I'd pick togo above it for long-term durability.
Really? You're going to use a Kelly even in your 60's?!In terms of weight which one is heavier. I am planning to use a kelly even at my 60s, weight should be my concern by then.

I am still debating whether to get a bolide 31 or Kelly 28 retourne. Meanwhile, may i ask for advice for Kelly 28, which leather is better, togo or evercolor?
Thanks!
I have a B30 togo and K28 evercolor. When empty, K28 is definitely lighter but I'm not sure if B30 is slightly bigger so has more leather? In terms of weight which one is heavier. I am planning to use a kelly even at my 60s, weight should be my concern by then.
Hmmm?? Sounds like LV canva the newer one are thinner and easy to tear compared to the old production .. will this be the same issue for H?Togo and Evercolor are my favorite leathers at Hermès! You can’t go wrong with either one. But in terms of durability, I do think Togo wears, generally, better in the long run. Having said this, each type of leather’s thickness and overall quality can depend from bag to bag. Make sure to check for yourself - I’ve heard about some Togo bags being thinner and losing its structure while others are super thick and sturdy!
