Kelly Pochette... Please help. Not sure what to do

Hi Girls. I had originally tried to get peoples opinions on this subject when Jag shut down the thread. A number of ladies had complained that I was trying to sell my bag on tPF. Please be advised: I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL MY BAG ON THIS WEBSITE.

Instead, I am trying to get some advice, for I am really in a pickle.
I had ordered a Brighton Blue Shiny Pochette. I thought I would fall in love with this color, and while it is stunning-- I have a personal preference for Matte Pochettes. Unlike larger kellys and Birkins.. the sale of Kelly Pochettes do go towards the individual SA sales goals. I don't want to return the bag because the SA was probably counting in the sale, and I dont want them to hesitate to contact me in the future.

What do you girls suggest I do? Should I just return it? Will it do any harm?
Has anyone had a situation like this before?
How have you dealt with this in the past?

I dont want to keep something that I dont love. I really want one in Matte, and I just have no idea what to do here.

JBS if you don't want it you should return it immeadiately to the store for a credit.

There are existing threads on returns/credits and their impact on SA relationships a search will locate the "feedback and instruction" you need.

I know it's really hard to do, but I would return it and ask your SA to find a different color. Since you are merely seeking to replace it, there should be no hard feelings.

I think it probably won't count as a sale for the SA, but since you will be looking to change/store credit for another purchase soon, that shouldn't be too big a problem?

Do you think they SA wont work as hard to get me things in the future?

You know what. I should just keep it already. Here I am complaining.. but the truth is-- There will be a price increase shortly.. and rather than pay an extra 8% .. I should just keep what I have. I keep going back and fourth on this.

I wanted to add, I'd rather pay 8% more to get exactly what I want than settle for second best - or less. I've rushed to buy things before a price increase in the past and regretted it. That inflation mentality to "buy it now" can work against you.

Looks like you got some advice. I do find it very rude to add to your post bold statements that come off as you yelling at the mods.

If you post and it looks to many like you are trying to sell a bag, then that is because you either are trying to or worded something wrong. No need to become so hostile towards those that we use to enforce the rules :nogood:

Jennab, if you don't want it,return it for store credit. If you have a solid relationship with your SA and H store, you should not have a problem with your future wants and needs. If you are unsure about that and uneasy, then probably best to just keep it.

Jennab, I have found myself in this situation ...
If you do not want to return it, why don't you simply take a few pics and list it on ebay ?
Hermes bags and pochette actually sell on ebay ! Espescially when it comes to Blue brighton croc !!!!!!
I am sure you will have no pb to get your money back...

Hi Megs. Thanks for your feedback. I was really offended because... The thread was closed... yet visible for everyone to see. And a mod had commented that there is no selling on the forum.etc. I wish someone would have just PMed me or Emailed me.. To advise that they didnt like the way I worded it, and I could have edited it.

I felt that to just close it down, and accuse me of selling and and leaving it up for viewing was defamatory... and made me look like someone I was not. So, When I reposted.. I was sure to explain my intentions of the post.
I guess we are all entitled to our own opinion and thats what makes this forum thrive!
