I'm planning to purchase myself a Kelly - haven't really decided in what leather and size. And I'm just wondering in which of the above places (Hong Kong, Tokyo, and New York) will I most likely find the bag!

I heard that Tokyo has a much wider collection of Hermes, is that true?

It would be great if someone could help me out.

Without a doubt, Japan is the easiest amongst these 3 countries, you don't have to play the games with Japan SA but you do have to pay a premium since its most expensive in Japan. You probably have zero chance in HK unless you have established yourself with certain HK SA or already a VIP. NY is a possibility if you were lucky on a particular day!

Japan is very low in stock nowadays. Have friends who passed over Japan separately during the last two months and saw no kellys/birkins on the shelf. Too many Asian tourists grabbing bags in a heart beat once they are put on the shelves.

Maybe NYC would be easier now. Hong Kong...no way, not as a walk in tourist.
