Kelly Chance in Paris?!

:heart:Hi, everyone i was wondering if you guys could give me a few pointers. I will be traveling to Paris in April and i want to get a kelly bag. I read that if you want to buy a birkin you need to get there in the early morning. Is this the same with a kelly bag? I already own a birkin so what i really need and want is the kelly. My ideal kelly is a :heart: black 28 or 32 Sellier Cherve Kelly , but i heard this is a near to impossible chance since some of you wonderful ladies told me this is only a so. Can you guys tell me what other leather choices i might be able to get. I know for a fact No box because i am very scared of getting it scratched and No epson leather because its too stiff. i will be using this as an casual/ dessy kinda bag. I am 5'1 1/2 and not very skinny but not too big either.:shrugs: Please advise me since i have never shopped at the H store in Paris!

Generally speaking there are always plenty of Kelly's on the shelf at FSH. Last two times I've been in FSH it was predominantly retourne, in fact I don't recall seeing any sellier

doloresmia, i check everyday! lol but since i am going to Paris i want to get it in there. i wanted to know my chance of getting the one i want.
I know its rare :crybaby:but hopefully i get real lucky:sweatdrop:

Don't be discouraged~~~ It's Paris we are talking about~~ The magical city where wonderful romantic things happen:girlsigh: Remember to check out both FSH and George V boutiques!! Epsom leather comes in sellier, so there's another choice. When I was in Paris last year there were plenty of kelly in an assortment of colors on the shelf. I was looking for a HAC and birkin so I was very good and went to the boutiques first thing in the morning. I want to say with Kellys you might be all right just dropping in anytime.... Go with an open mind and try them all and hopefully you will find something you love!! Good luck~~;)

Thank you for your encouragement!!! I am praying i will get lucky. :p:yes:lol maybe with the economy so bad i might get even more lucky in getting her. Now i cant decide what size i should get. 28 and 32 are what i really love but i am scared that the 32 maybe too big for my 5'1 frame :sweatdrop: .

Btw, Boo i am so LOVING your PICOTIN!!!!:heart: Was it a so or was luck on your side!!! lucky u!!! i have never seen that color in real life!!! so pretty!:nuts:

I'm about 5'2" and I have a 32 sellier kelly in orange epsom and she does seem a little on the big side since she's a sellier. I personally would not go bigger than a 32 and I have been thinking about a 28 retourne kelly for my next bag. Thank you for your compliments on my rose shocking/vert anis picotin :) It was definitely pure luck that I found her, she was not an SO. I passed her up 2 years ago and I have been searching for her ever since and found her on Valentine's day this year~~
Good luck in Paris!! Have extra fun for me ~~ can't wait to see what you'll be bring back!!!

Can I ask u a question do u use your 32 sellier kelly as a dessy dinner/ evening party bag? thats why i have been debateing which size to get.

Thank U DiamondS!!!! I really hope i get LUCKY!!!! Paris is a magical place so maybe my dreams can come true!!!!

btw DiamondS i was wondering if you knew the 2009 price in EUROS for a Cherve Kelly 32 and 28. No one on the Hermes current prices knows that acutal price for a cherve kelly. I love your vast collection of Hermes bags!!!!! Thank you very much!!!!
