Kelly 35 for everyday use? *on guys*

Hello all, i'm thinking to get a pristine condition 2017 kelly retourne 35cm in black togo PHW as an everyday bag, i know that this is not the right time to purchase such an expensive bag but i found quiet reasonable price for it (and it comes in full set). A little bit about me i work from home most of the time even pre-covid, so i don't have a big/work bag in my collection and i'm used to bringing a small bag with me out. A retourne kelly has been a dream bag of mine, but you know sometimes even with your dream bag it's just better admired from afar as it might not work with your lifestyle and etc..

As i never 'experience' the bag in real life, is the size 35cm practical at all? and is the size/style in general good for everyday use? Planning of using it as a shoulder bag with wide amazone strap. As this is such an expensive bag i'm planning to use it even let's say to the grocery store cause it's all about cost per wear for me... Thank you

What a handsome bag! Yes! I think you would love this very much! I hope you decide to get it; it really is striking! A wide canvas strap would be awesome! I have one for my 32 kelly retourne blue indigo so that I can wear it cross body. I take mine to the grocery store all of the time.

I have the 35 kelly with canvas strap and it is a great size for work/travel. I can fit a lot inside including my work tablet. Here’s a pic for size reference.

LOVE my K35s and also use them with a wide crossbody strap (I have a small collection of straps from H, Prada, and Mautto - it's really nice to mix things up for a different look). It's a fantastic bag and you can't go wrong with noir! Mine go everywhere I go, grocery store, etc. Good luck and enjoy.

I prefer 28. 35 can bump into things, too bulky for my taste. The bigger the bag , the more tempting it is to stuff it. I feel Kelly is too much of a treasure to make a work horse. I love my 28 and use it a lot but I treasure her, protect her from overworking or getting hurt ... she gives me enjoyment each time I pick her up

I sold my kelly 35 as I use my larger Birkins more. I think the colour was the main issue that didn’t work for me. But a kelly 35 is really chic and if you like the crossbody/shoulder option it would work really well as a casual everyday bag. Fits a lot too! I love kelly 32 as a cool but casual day/relaxed evening bag.
