Having said that, since you already own a 35 Birkin, why don't you go for a 32 Kelly? "Try it on", check out the interior, and if it suites your needs, go go go! The black box is wonderful! Another leather choice to consider that meets the "durable for everday, yet elegant" criteria is definitely epsom.
I personally don't agree with some other forum members that the rigide/sellier Kelly looks bigger than the retourne. My opinion is exactly the opposite: I think that the sellier looks smaller, maybe because it's more structured and its' lines look more sleek - the retourne 35 looks a bit bulky (to me at least), in clemence especially.
