Kelly 25 vs Mini Kelly

Hello! I have one rose lipstick chèvre Kelly 25 Sellier in my collection, Should I get another kelly 25 in etoupe color or get Mini Kelly in any colors?I heard Mini Kelly will be nice with pop of color. Will Mini Kelly too small to fit iPhone 12 Pro max?

Yes, it is super tiny and will not fit a Max phone (takes some finesse to fit the regular size iPhone actually).

I would not do the mini kelly, but I’m in the “mini bags are overhyped” camp.

I would do K25 retourne. It’s very easy to use because it is roomier and less stuff than the sellier you have.
The mini-Kelly is nice if you have a large collection. If not, there are more useful choices for small bags and clutches.

mini kelly ii is a beautiful bag but capacity is very limited. i can fit my iphone 12 pro (the max will not fit), card holder (calvi will work), keys and a lipstick or two. i myself would love to have a rainbow of colors in the mini K as I find it so easy to dress up or down. must have for me. Kelly 25 sellier is a close second.

I am not sure where to contact you, but I think in your recent article on Kelly bags, you wrote that Sellier is inside stitching and Retourne outside stitching. Is this not a mistake or am I losing my marbles? Sorry to contact you here, just not sure where to post? xx

I vote for 25 retourné. For me the retourné style is the ultimate Kelly style and you will see that it is carefree and so easy to use specially in etoupe

I have to take the case off my iPhone 11 Pro, which is smaller than your 12, to wiggle it into a mini K. Since you already have a sellier 25, why not a retourné?
