I don’t think it is too trendy at all. You said purple is your favourite colour so I say you should go for it. Think of it almost like a personalized piece like the LV heritage line where you choose your own coloured stripes but this one is already made for you. It seems to be a reflection of your personality! It is only two stripes so i don’t find it too distracting at all. Plus, if you have other monogram bags that you are bringing on the trip, this one can quickly be identified.

I returned it. If you're looking for a smaller duffle, get it for sure!!!! I wanted something bigger so going to buy a 55 or 60. I recommend going in person to make sure it's a size you want. It wasn't doable for me and travel.

Pro: it's soooo gorgeous purple is my fav color and wanted it so bad /Has an interior pocket

Neutral: strap is fabric / the size

Con: the purple "lock" is a purple leather slip that goes over a black lock, it seems tight but it also slipped off (worried I'd lose it, slip off while traveling) /
There's a pretty huge gap at each end of zipper, I noticed LV Duffles have it and it honestly annoys me that Michael Kors does a tighter seem on theirs.

In Conclusion: if it wasn't so small, I would have kept it and loved it forever. I guess I have to wait for the right one to come along in a 55 or 60, sucks all the cool ones come in 40 or 50

Thanks for the info and pictures! I'm leaning towards passing on this because the purple seems so muted with the flat black. I want something with more pop.

I absolutely love purple but have the keepall in mono with black handles already. It was intriguing but then I saw it in the store and was not a big fan. It just seemed clunky and manly. Didn’t like the nylon strap either.

Yeah, a few people have mentioned that the nylon strap cheapens it on a way.
