Keep this Bag - Yay or Nay?

I'm trying to decide whether I will keep this bag or not. I like it, and I did get it on sale, but I have bought a lot of bags lately and I'm not that really much of a bag person - I guess I just recently had this burst of bag obsession. I like it mostly because of the moto belt detail.

I'm more of a crossbody gal. This bag can be crossbody. Does this bag look dated? Am I going to get sick of the details?

Could you help me decide? Should I return it and just save the money towards another bag I want - the Balenciaga giant hardware bag?

I don't think it looks dated. I don't care for the belt and you seem to have doubts about it. So maybe return rather than regret.
