So I know this is an lv thread and it does involve lv lol so I got the mpa and think it’s so cute casual for my everyday style but have to sell to keep. So on my chopping block is my ysl large college. I got a decent offer from fashionphile matching the mpa. I like the ysl but it’s dressy. Current times I know will change but I’m not using it. I also have a pochette Métis that I gravitate towards for going out as I’m more of a neutral browns girl. Can I have your thoughts? What would you do? I also ended up returning the mpa in rose and ordered the khaki today. I’m more of a pink girl but think the khaki will be more versatile in fall and spring summer

I like the YSL a lot better even I never had bought any YSL yet, it just look a decent and practical bag (looks like a bag organizer will help maintin it's shape) and can be business, dressy and causal, in regarding selling PM, any sales that lose money and a big chunk of money seems pretty painful to me. How much does FP offer you if you don't mind? I guess anywhere $1000 to $1400 for the Pochette Metis?? That would be lots of money to lose, if can sell PM for $1,700 in hand, that's probably the least I would want to sell to use the money towards any other bags.

Oh no wouldn’t sell pochette Métis and multi pochette accessorie is still in return window so I would just return. I would sell the ysl to fashionphile

Of those three bags, my first choice is the Metis. I own two of them and I really vibe with that style, so no way would I sell it. Even though I wouldn't buy the YSL, I like it second best. The YSL is lovely, but it's too dressy for me. I don't like the Multi, so I'd return that. But I never would have bought it in the first place, so my opinion doesn't matter much.

Good luck with your choice. It's hard to find the right fit, epically when life seems to change, then change more 2 seconds later.

Yea selling the Métis wasn’t an option I use that one most. I feel the ysl is a bit dressy for me in general. Yea I think life right now is playing to much with my mind I have to keep saying things won’t always be this way lol

Which pochette Métis do you have?

I would do exactly what you in if I were in your shoes. I think the khaki strap is more versatile than the pink even though pink is pretty. I’d just get a very similar pink strap from amazon for those times when I feel like a nice pop of pink. And if I reach for the Pochette Métis more than the YSL College bag then I’d sell the YSL. Yes, things will change but it’s not like the PM won’t work well when times do go back to being more normal. I think you made the right choice.
