Keep or sell Large Paraty

I have the large paraty (black with gold hw) that I purchased when it first came out... It’s huge and very heavy. I no longer use the bag but the resell value is heartbreaking - around $400-$800 cdn when I paid around $1,900.

Unsure if I should sell or keep, what did you do?

I understand your dilemma. Alas this is the destiny of it-bags after 10 or 15 years...
To my mind it is simple: if you sell it you'll get a few hundreds. If you don't sell it you'll get nothing.
Or maybe could you use it as a week-end bag, or diaper bag?

Guess I could use it as a weekend bag i the future. I was hoping it would make a come back like the Dior Saddle :doh:

That's what I was thinking. The Paraty itself may not come back, but I think large bags will be huge soon.

I also think some of mine that don't get a lot or wear might be something I gift to my daughter one day, so I keep most of my bags.

But if you used it and loved it and don't wear it anymore, while the resale isn't the same, you still got your money's worth. At least, that's the way I try and think of it.

I think the paraty is a classic, especially in black. I have this exact bag in python and I love it. Honestly I don't carry mine a lot, but I can't bear the thought of parting with an exotic Chloe piece. You just never know when you'll carry it again.

I will try to take a good photo tomorrow to show you. It's such a beauty.

Also as a mom, small bags do nothing for me. I always need to carry a water bottle

You might decide to one day use it for diaper bag, laptop bag, travel. Its very study, very versatile. I bought 2 preloved last year. Love them more now.
