Keep or return?

I want to start by saying I’m not super picky when it comes to my bags. As a general rule, I’m pretty easygoing about them. I don’t examine them I just use them.

But with that being said my new Marmont Camera bag just came and the “GG”s on the back are wrinkled. Do all the bags end up like this anyway or would you return it?

If it’s ‘normal’ I’ll keep it. So what do you all think? Brand new, never used. I just unboxed it 10 minutes ago

I've heard of a lot of the Marmont bags coming with creases in the chevrons. I think it's just because of leather and from being stuffed. It will probably happen over time, but I would be bothered if my bag came brand new with imperfections. p.s I've heard of people steaming the bags to get them out, that personally kind of scares me though.

I think most soft leather will get creases eventually. That said, it's an expensive bag, so if it bothers you I would return as you should be completely happy with it.

There are wrinkles and then then there are wrinkles. I don't think that's normal. Return.

Your new bag should come to you perfect until you cause the wrinkles not before you purchased it. Return.

100% return! I had this same issue and tried to exchange but all the marmont bags I looked at had noticeable defects like this. Not impressed.
