I got these bangles at a very good price. The picture shows a rose gold and a yellow gold one. A white gold one is on it's way, it should be here Mon then I will post pics of all three. Are these my dream bangles? No. Are they fun? I think so but obviously I'm reconsidering. My main concern is I was trying to down size and only buy quality items but truthfully diamond bangles of the quality I would really want are not high on my likely to buy list and these are kinda cute. I think it has more to do with expected wear. If you expect to wear these bangles a lot and get a lot of wear from them, then I think they are worth it. If you will still pine for the higher quality bangles and either not wear these or not enjoy them when you do, then it isn't worth buying the others.

No, if I keep I wear. I wore them today and think I liked them more than I thought I would. I think 3 will look better. Actually 3 more to make 6 total would be best but that kinda defeats the purpose, although still considering. I just don't want them to make the rest of my jewelry look lesser in quality. I guess that's my question. Do they look for lack of a better word, cheap?

I love sets of three.
Why are you worried that the bangles look cheap ?
Are they sparkly?
I know that stacking is a big trend but I do think the bracelets would look more lux if worn by themselves....

I got them at a local boutique that sells a mix of high end and costume jewlery. I could of had these which are 14k and not great, but sparkly, diamonds or gold filled with crystals for essentially the same price. They were out of the white gold but could order it for me. They don't speak English very well so I couldn't really understand if they were getting the third from vendor or if they had storage somewhere. But I did feel better buying this set over the crystal set. She tried to explain why the crystal ones costed the same but I couldn't really follow. I'll post pic of whole set when I get it. It's a funky new little place so I don't fully trust the quality. That mixed with the low price had me iffy but everybody's positive comments make me feel a little better about the purchase. Now I just hope they hold up, but she did tell me any problems and I could return. Thanks

They are pretty bangles. However, I think that if you are having doubts, then maybe they are not for you? You could keep the money to put towards your dream bangles. I have a jewellery box full of items that were nice when I bought them, but not perfect and I never wear now, which I really regret. It is a nice decision to have to make though :smile1: x

Ah, your description makes me suspicious of the place and not only the quality of the diamonds but whether they are even diamonds; diamonds should never cost the same as crystals even if they are really low end diamonds. Honestly I would return them, it would be much better to get one quality diamond bangle than to waste your money on something that may even fall apart and yes bad workmanship could result in your bangles falling apart, you could lose the stones and very low quality diamonds can themselves crack and fall apart as well. I think one better quality piece would be the answer. I too love stacking and I know it is the trend but I do think that one high quality piece is a lot more classy.

I have to agree with others who have said if you are unsure and don't really love them, you should return them. You'll probably still want the dream bangle, so the money spent on these should go toward what you truly want!

How is it possible that a 14k bangle with diamonds could cost essentially the same as a 14kt gold filled bracelet with crystals?
That combined with the language barrier worries me a lot.
I would definitely return both bangles and save that money to apply towards something that you can feel more sure about.

Actually they were inexpensive for diamond bangles but pricy for crystals if that makes sense. I've seen department store diamond bangles similarly priced. All of everyone's concerns are mine or I wouldn't of posted, my main concern is stones coming lose and loss of sparkle. I've worn them 2 days, short I know, with no problems. I think I'll bite the humble bullet and have my jeweler look at them tomorrow. It won't be fun but I'll get definitive answer's regarding potential problems. We're friends which is a good thing and a bad thing. She would not fear the word 'junk" with me, LOL. Should be interesting! I'll post if keeping or returning.

It's hard to tell from a picture but if they don't have sparkle in real life I'd return. Get some swarovski bangles instead :) those'll sparkle for sure ;) No one should settle in life
