Not really. I’m very casual. If ever this will be a bag I will use for formal occasions.

I assume the link is exactly what you bought? I don't see that as terribly formal. Not to say you couldn't use it that way, but I don't see why you couldn't use it casually too. Just to run errands, have lunch with friends, go to church, those times when you just need the basics. Or take the chain off and use it as a wallet in your larger bag.

I think you could probably get a lot of use out of it if you thought about it. But if the best thing about it for you was the price, you should probably return it.

Actually I really like it. But just not sure how functional a WOC is as I have never had one.

I suggest you put your stuff in it and see how it feels on. The style is pretty casual and easy to wear so it might be the exact thing you need. I just recently bought a WOC and it fits alot despite being much smaller/flatter than yours - I can put my phone, keys, lipstick and my wallet stuff in it. I think it will be a future travel essential since it can go from being a daytime light crossbody into a clutch in the evening into wallet to carry in my tote.
