Checked out her new releases and I came across this bag "wrap" for one of her purses.... (https://www.katespade.com/products/make-it-mine-leather-candace-reversible-wrap/PXRU7927.html)

As well as this , a replacement bag flap for her Byrdie bag (https://www.katespade.com/products/make-it-mine-cat-byrdie-flap/PXRU7939.html)

Is this an original KS idea? If so ... that's pretty unique.
Anyone have either a byrdie or candace? Curious to know how well the bag holds up w/ all the mix and match detachable parts to it..

That cat flap! I had overlooked it, so cuuute! Thank you for linking it! I think KS has some great color combos on the mix and match bag flaps.

I don't know where the idea is from this season. But Michael Kors has Selmas and Sloan Editors with mix and match flaps. So I would expect another brand probably has them as well.

Like you, I am very curious about how the flaps hold up. Especially the reversible flaps being bent in both directions. I have my doubts. It's a very cute and tempting idea though!

Isn't it cute? I didn't know MK Selmas were that customizable now either.. I'm going to have to look into that lol.

Seems like everyone else has the same precautions we do, with all that bending and detaching, how does the leather look over time? I wonder if it's noticeable to have a full leather piece covering the outside of a bag... I would imagine it'd be kinda thick no?
