Kate Spade Kate Spade straps

I was wondering if anyone had this strap or had seen it. I'm curious if it's real glitter (that might be prone to flaming off) or if it is coated glitter. Thanks!

Usually Kate Spade have coated glitter bags/wallets/pouches, so I'm assuming it would be the same for the straps
