Ive been going to outlets more often since 2 mos ago and I noticed the kate spade has the longest line! Its always packed with people. I had to wait for a long time outside. Its the in bag this year I think..anyone noticed this?

No, but I've noticed that she's getting popular with the teen market. My daughter had zero interest in Kate Spade until she started high school. And I think the younger generation makes things "cool" (popular) possibly?

Coach used to be like that in the past and now its kate spade...black friday is coming up in canada and I can just imagine...I bought a bag just yesterday and I saw a lady yesterday while on line at the cashier carrying three of the same bag as mine. She said it will be xmas gifts. I guess because xmas is nearing...

As soon as a designer opens up an outlet location that's the case. 95% of the people I see in the GTA wearing Kate Spade have things from the outlet and feel no need to even visit a boutique. The outlet offers "versions" of most bags seen in boutiques, which is what I tend to see here. When our outlet opened in 2013 I noticed more and more KSNY items.

I've been buying ks for almost literally half my life now (I got my first knockoff at 15 and a backpack to replace the knockoff when i was 16, I'm 30 now). I saw the quality starting to plummet though a year ago and my style had been changing anyway (I'm not really girly chic anymore). I have a few wallets I got almost two years ago and I love them. I have bought a few pieces from them recently though... I always buy their iPhone cases. I had like 10 for my iPhones 5 and 5s haha. I have four for my iPhone 6. But I only buy their resin+rubber ones only - tried an all leather one for the 6 and it was by far the worst case I've ever owned, even worse than the 4.00 bulky Hello Kitty ones you'll find on Amazon or in Chinatown. All their iPad cases I've tried (like five) were cute but pure bull functionally and always ended up getting returned. However I am pleased that they make sleeves for 15" MacBook Pros (like no designer does).

I don't like ks clothing but I was pleasantly surprised to find a red dress that was even nicer than the one I lent to a former friend (so I'm never seeing it gain) on clearance in September and it looked spectacular on me. And it was on clearance. New Favorite Dress so far:

I bought an ivory and black striped sweater t-shirt too, during that visit to their store near me. I went in there just to browse and left with ~300 worth of clothes and a 40.00 iPhone case lol. I almost bought shoes too.

I do have two ks watches and her 2016 planner on my Christmas list though. Some really nice ones out this season. I've had a bracelet one for awhile that I just can't get adjusted right - I'm in between link sizes I guess - so I'm going to have the bracelet removed and replaced a with a leather band. My ~nice~ stationery is ks and I prefer it in comparison to most brands all around, but I always see some on clearance at Papyrus so that's when I stock up. I have their little sticky note things but they are rubbish, the adhesive barely sticks and the notes roll up as soon as you've stuck them. I always have to use scotch tape with them. Its a pain because I use them frequently in my planners.

So basically, yeah, I shop ks, but its not a default Go To shopping destination for me even though I really ADORE the gems I do own. I see it everywhere and that makes me feel blah but at least its cuter than Michael Kors which literally makes me vomit blood.

I agree, I think consumers tend to cycle through accessible luxury brands. First Coach, then Michael Kors, and now Kate Spade NY. I think Tory Burch handbags are also becoming popular.

Definitely agree. TB is becoming popular but the price-point is marginally higher, therefore I don't see it as much or as often. If I do it's usually outlet items or nylon bags. As someone who owns several TB items I'd recommend sticking to MK and KS for anyone whose looking at the more affordable designers with decent quality because TB's price point does not reflect their quality. Myself and many people I know have had several issues with the quality of TB which is unfortunate because I love her designs.

Tb is also getting popular. I bought a wallet from them for 89 dollars. Even their sale items are pricey. I noticed that ks clothings are expensive too. Good thing im not into pricey clothes lol
