What do you ladies think about this bag in the Clay or Beige color?

I don't have Kate Spade bags. What are your experiences with the quality of Kate Spade bags.
I am trying to stay with brands like LV, Gucci, Chloe, Chanel etc. and this one has a Chanel bag feel to it.
I need a beige bag, but I am also apprehensive about getting a bag in LV or Chanel in beige because color transfer is an issue. And the more expensive the bag, the more I will be scared to use it.
I also don't want to carry something that will lose its shape and looks soon or have loose threads etc.
What would you ladies advise? Shall I get this bag or not?
