Kate Spade emails through Coach

I use specific emails for Coach, all of a sudden I started getting emails from Kate Spade. I have never signed up to receive emails from Kate Spade. I realized they are coming to those specific emails.
Has anyone else had this happen? If I opt out of receiving them will that also opt me out of receiving emails from Coach?

Both Coach and Kate Spade belong to the same company, Tapestry. So probably they share the email contacts among all affiliate companies (I believe Stuart Weitzmann also belongs to Tapestry....)
