I been eyeing the Kate Spade Balloon pieces since they came out.

Somehow Shopbop had one for sale on Amazon at 40% off this past weekend. So I immediately ordered it.

Today, the bag arrived. I realized even it's incredibly cute. I have to lay my phone flat just to fit it. There is barely room for anything else.

I am really conflicted right now. As I am about to upgrade my phone to something even bigger. The zip compartment inside is also very small, doesn't fit even the credit card.

Anyone with this bag can talk about how they deal with the phone, key, money & card situation?

Thank you for the response. I understand it's a statement piece. I am OK with not carrying anything but the essentials in it.

I cannot imagine going anywhere without my phone though. I meant, do I carry another bag to hold my phone when carrying this? I guess what do you ladies do with your phones when carrying a statement piece like this?

I have a few KSNY novelty bags (including the balloon bag), and I just carry my phone in my jeans/dress pocket or leave it in the car. My novelty bags are for special trips out, like a lazy day at the mall or touring a museum or something. I can do without my phone for a few hours.
