Juste un clou earrings or C de Cartier dilemma

Sorry in advance if this is too minor a topic for its own thread, but I am going in circles about this and hubby is of no help. I recently tried on the juste un clou earrings in WG pave and fell in love. However, I just bought the small panthere watch and pearl c de cartier earrings (they are off for post adjustment and then I shall share mods!), so I feel it more responsible to wait a little.

However, the itch won't go away and so I ordered the plain RG JUC earrings (arriving Tuesday with luck). BUT my local jeweller just got in a C de cartier diamond necklace with a 0.51ct stone, G, VVS2 at a good price and here is my dilemma...

Get the necklace instead (which has also been on my list) and wait a bit and go for the pave juste un clou earrings later down the line or keep the focus on the plain RG JUC earrings?? I know this is 1st world problems, and so I humbly seek your thoughts and opinions

Attached is mod shot of me trying on the JUC WG pave. I stupidly didn't try on the RG plain at the time as I was looking at the pearl c de cartier and multiple other things and the SA brought the JUC WG pave on a whim.. I am wondering if the RG might "drown" a little in my red hair?

Not yet as I have been away on holidays this week (hence too much thinking time evidently), but I have from when I tried one on in the Cartier store earlier in the year. This is a 0.22ct if memory serves..

ETA: @isobel77 , I tend to regret buying things that are a great price and readily available. It might be different bc the necklace is on your list, but if you can save for the bigger item that you “have fallen in love with,” , and get that faster, I think that would be great. I only say this bc I thought i also read one concern was that the regular JUC might blend with your hair. So, I would have voted pave JUC, if that had been an option.

Thank you for your thoughts! The pendant was also on my list as I love the setting and don't have a RG diamond pendant. It was just not an itch I was expecting to satisfy right now which I guess is driving my indecision! And if was full boutique price (for the pendant) I think the JUC pave earrings would get preference due to their uniqueness. So, I see this as maybe an opportunity to tick off the pendant and then just wait a little longer for the earrings. Argh decisions decisions!
