So I just purchased a LG Hamilton Quilt Gunmetal bag, and its TDF!!!

My concern is that I would like to use this an everyday work bag, will this be ok for that?

Is this patent leather, leather, or lambskin, sorry I'm really bad in telling. Also, I have the MK protector, should I spray this?

Do any of you use this bag on a regular basis...

Thanks

i have the gunmetal quilted bag, and it is absolutely stunning! I ordered it in the small flap clutch as well I love it so much. I'm not much help though because I don't carry it on a daily basis, and I have no idea what kind of leather is, although I know its not patent.

Congrats on your purchase and enjoy her!

I own the small flap bag with the chain strap in gunmetal. I am not sure of the leather, either, except it definitely isn't patent. I would bet it is a cow leather and not lamb, as it holds up very well. I used it as an everyday bag for quite a while before I put it into rotation, and it still looks brand new. I did spray mine with protector; I figured it couldn't hurt it and it might protect it in the event of a spill or other accident. Better safe than stained!

ok i will be spraying it tonight...i usually will rotate it between a black and a brown michaal kors respectively...and I'm not rough with my purses, and when at work they are in a padded drawer with a lock lol... so im hoping it will hold up

I think is cow leather that has a metallic finish to it. Metallic bags tend to fade or flake after use but it is normal. I think that spraying it will definitely help. Post some pictures when you have time. =]

With the gunmetal, I feel like it will be less noticeable than with other colors. I've only heard of one person who really had a problem with it. If it gets too bad you can always take it back to the store.

Oh I didn't know kors took back bags that were defective. Sorry I'm new to the kors family, I'm a coach shopper and have had some not so good service from them. Which is why I decided to purchase something from kors. I do have one other kors bag, a patent lattitude that I absolutly adore!

I used my xl Hamilton over the weekend to toke around some papers and I was scared that it was going to break my strap because the bag was heavy. i dont know how much weight i can carry, but...I probably wont do it again...okay maybe i will
