Just got Vogue and I am Hyperventilating!

I LOVE this shoe! It's very Alaia-esque to me. That said I'm not sure if I'm willing to fork over $1,500+ to buy it for myself though.....as Roccia python becomes even more fragile/hard to care of when it's on strappy sandals like that (it's fragile enough on the "Simple" pump); also it looks like the heel is a 5-inch Pigalle-like spike heel without any platform support (as such I doubt I'll get to wear those more than two times a year max). This might just be one of those admire & lust-after CL "artworks."

Natassha - I thought that too initially but I just know that it is going to be fabulous on.

Foxy - it absolutely reminds me of Alaia. I actually think that roccia python is rather durable, I have several CL (and other brands) python strappy sandals that have held up pretty well.

I can't wait to see this shoe IRL but so far I don't know who will be receiving it, any input from anyone?

I have not received my Vogue yet, thanks for scanning in the picture LavenderIce. Those are definitely statement CL's.

Is it me, or am I the only one that finds the shoes Lavander posted ugly?

I think you have to love python to love these shoes.

I love python, but I like it in other colors than "natural," so the color doesn't do much for me. I think I would love it in black!

I do not know who will be carrying them. I roccia python, but in this shoe with the strappyness and knots I am not sure if I like them. Although I do see the artistic beauty of the shoe.

I just got home and was pleasantly suprised to see the new issue of Vogue magazine, so I did what I always do when I get a new magazine, I start reading it backwards (must be the jew in me). And oh what a lovely sight I saw,the new Christian Louboutin neuron stilleto in roccia python!
Does anyone know anything about this shoe like who bought it and when it will be available? I am starting to hyperventilate here! These shoe looks absolutely stunning.

I can't wait to slip them on because they just look lucsious in this photo. What are your thoughts for the ladies that have seen it. Can anyone scan it?

That's hilarious! I happen to be Jewish and also read magazines from the back flap on...all those years of hebrew school.
Anyway, I haven't made up my mind if I love these or not. The knots may or may not get on my nerves. I am going to Louboutin today, so if I see them, I will take pictures.
