just got black patent in large -strap ?

I am so excited - my bag justed arrived today. Got it from the YSL store in Las Vegas. Now that I have it I am questioning the strap length. Does it look bad wearing on shoulder? BTW - I am new to this list and not sure if I am posting in the right place. Also - bag is kind of squeeky - I think the patent will wear in and not be so noisy...any thoughts?
