Just discovered Arayla! <3 Nightingale or Harlow?

Both are beautiful choices. I have the Hepburn and Harlow. Vixnkitten has both of the styles you mentioned so she would be best at giving you feedback. The champagne gold butter leather is beautiful-a metallic neutral that will go with everything. It’s not brassy or vulgar, but a stunning, warm golden glow.

I'm looking for longer term use and wearability but love the metallics. I had originally planned to get the espresso harlow, but can't stop drooling over how interesting the metallics are!
I have the Nightingale in black leather. If you check this link New Brand - Arayla Made in LA you will see my review of the bag. I love it. Mine truly looks like a "doctor" bag because it is black. It looks less so in other colors. I would have purchased it in pewter but at the time they were out of that leather and mine was a sample at a very good price.
I’m a silver/white metal person so I like the pewter. The pewter and champagne gold are great metallic neutrals. If you like yellow gold, the champagne gold would be pretty. Either way, you can’t go wrong. Both colors are neutral but far from boring.
I have the pewter and have seen the gold in person as well. They are both beautiful leathers but I think it depends on your personality and taste. I, personally, don't think I could pull off a gold bag, but never say never!!! I lean toward silver and don't ever wear anything gold. However, the gold does have a fabulous pop quality to it. The pewter is amazingly neutral with that something extra! I love wear pewter shoes since they go with EVERYTHING so pewter bags are a no-brainer for me!!! Gold would be great for the summer!!! Eesh...the decisions are so difficult to make. Again, as I said in the other thread...write to Janelle and have her send you a few swatches!!!

Some days I need the structure and the flash of the pewter Nightingale. Some days I feel more slouchy and boho so the Harlow is perfect for that!! I LOVE the feel of the butter leather of the Harlow because of the drapey velvety quality to it. What is your style? What do you already have? What do you need? What would you use more??Oh man....that is like asking me which kid I love best....it all depends on the day!

I thought for sure the Harlow was for me since I'm a total slouchy boho girl, but after texting J yesterday she convinced me that what I really would like is either Hepburn or the Nightingale. She knows my taste in bags so, while I do love the hobos, I need a little bit of structure to keep it from becoming a bottomless pit from the smush factor. My favorite hobos are typically the LVs and that canvas provides some structure. I like slouchy satchels and totes though, since they tend to either be not as deep or easier access than a hobo. So, I have 2 bags on their way. A gold hepburn and a pewter nightingale. I have swatches from a few months ago but it's different seeing them on a whole bag! Espresso is my favorite swatch!
I love pewter too! I typically wear a lot of black but for my summer wardrobe I thought I might want something brighter. I've had a gold bag before that reminds me of the Arayla gold. It was gorgeous but kinda flashy!
