Just curious - How do much do SAs know about you?

Just curious: how much do you think your SAs know about you?
Some of my SAs are very good about knowing what I would like even before I know what I want!

I had a recent conversation with my Saks SA who refused point blank to sell me a pair of Dior Extreme sandals. She offered to send a cute pair of Prada mary janes instead. Her reason: Knowing my taste, I would never wear the Diors and they would probably freak my DH out.

Guess what? She was right! DH hated the Dior sandals.

I know for a fact that I'm Mrs. X in many black books and sales accounts. This is very strange since it happens in almost every high end store I've shopped at. And I rarely mention my DH when communicating with my SA.
But X is my maiden name since I do not take my husband's last name.

I've seen my 'info' in my Nordies SA's book and it goes like this:

1) Mrs. X
2) Birthday, address, phone
3) Shoe size
4) Clothing size
5) Additional info: Prefers to phone in orders and purchases in duplicates

And probably the most amusing fact: Mrs. X is fearful of tight toe box. When in doubt, charge sends 2 sizes, one true size and half size up.
* Complained Manolo gave her blisters.
**No sequins but bright colors okay.

:nuts: I didn't even know that my SA was so 'right on'!

I live in boring Sweden (haha, I love it here but some things ie shopping is so much better in the US) and I could only dream of getting that kind of service. As long as it's that kind of information, like what kind of styles and colors once prefer I think it's terrific and just goes to show how customer oriented a SA can be.

All of mine know me as their only client from Mississippi! My SA from Barney's probably knows me the best. He knows NOT to send anything below 4" and that I am not fond of chunky heels. Also knows that I am not afraid of color, in fact, I prefer it and I am always on board with sequins.

Waaay too much. My style, my preferences, my size and most importantly cell phone # and email which they use to constantly test my willpower. My SA Mike has it down to a science and sends texts and emails with subject lines like HOT LIKE FIRE or CAN U RESIST!?!?!? or NEW BABIES WANNA COME HOME.

I think I just found out today what she knows about me -- I like sales, but will buy if they somehow get me in the store!

Of course, the cell #, email, home, what I do for a living, my birthday/place... Geez, I guess I said that to say the same thing my mom knows! LOL!

Doesn't really count for me but my SA is an actual close friend of me and my SO's. This is only at NM though. I usually buy from whoever he recommends though cause my friend is a manager and doesn't make any commission from my purchases.

i think my favorite SAs know mainly what size i am and who my fav designers are; other than that, they probably know a bunch of useless info just from us randomly chatting, like where i work and live, etc., but nothing much about my preferences....mainly because i don't think i have any particular tastes and am fairly open to suggestion :sweatdrop:

Where I live is beautiful and all but does not cater to any type of high end boutiques or designers. So alas no SA for me. It would be nice though but at the same time so bad...so many temptations!!!
