Hi all,

I need help deciding between a regular or small yellow gold Juste un Clou with diamonds. I have a regular classic yellow gold love, and I think I would probably stack them, although maybe if I went for the larger one I’d wear on my other wrist (is that weird?). Photos below- I’m willing to move some pieces around, particularly the VCA butterfly if I get the JUC as I’m not sure they go together.

here’s my dilemma: I love the proportions and look of the classic size, and it’s the one I initially fell in love with. However, it’s much more expensive and I’m not sure how I feel about having something that pricy. For context, I’m 27 years old and work in publishing, and although I often go to nice restaurants etc, it feels maybe a little too flashy. I also don’t want it to totally overpower the Love — I want them both to be noticeable.

My hesitation with the smaller one is that I don’t want it to look too thin and insubstantial next to the regular love.

would welcome all your thoughts!!

photos attached of me trying on the small JUC with diamonds, me trying on both sizes (without diamonds, just for size), and my current stack.

I would go for the regular JUC. The smaller JUC next to a full-sized love - the proportions don't look as good in my opinion. The more you see the JUC on yourself, the more you'll get used to it and it doesn't seem flashy to me. The full-sized love and regular JUC both look noticeable to me in your picture. I think you will enjoy the full-sized JUC much longer than the smaller JUC with diamonds, even if you might feel like it's too much at 27 now.

How tall are you? Without knowing more, I'd say the classic JUC with no diamonds.

The classic JUC doesn't work for me though. I tried it and felt it overpowered my petite frame. I'm planning to get the small JUC to stack with the classic love. I tried the small diamond and immediately thought it was too flashy for me.

But, do what makes your heart sing!

I have a full-sized JuC with diamonds and I’d have to say that the diamonds are so tiny and barely noticeable because they’re just around the nail head. Come to think of it, if I’d really thought about it then I might not have bought it with diamonds and paid more money for it. So if you’re concerned that the diamond one will be flashy, I wouldn’t worry as much about that part. I’d more concerned with proportion. I think I like the regular size with your full-sized Love better.

I’m 5’6”, not too petite, but small wrists for my frame (size 16 in the JUC)

I stack thin with diamonds with my classic and thin love with diamonds. I wasn't a fan of the juc at all and preferred the classic over the thin but when they came out with the thin with diamonds I caved. :)

I would go for the regular. With or without diamonds is a very personal choice. One looks more industrial and the other more feminine. However I feel with a classic Love you can go either way.

Definitely the regular! It is 3x the weight of the small one and is solid gold (compared to a wire inside the thin one) so a lot more substantial.

The thin JUC looks and feels small and flimsy and gets hooked onto jumpers etc easily. You have to be careful of bending the wire out of shape. It’s similar to the Tiffany T bracelet which I have, and I have to be soo careful with it.

I have the regular Love and find the thin looks a bit odd paired with it. The size of the regular JUC looks a lot better with the regular Love.

I have a petite frame too but find the JUC makes a great statement piece!
