Hi all,

I have very small wrists. I tried on a 15cm JUC and it was still big enough to slide off my wrist. I didn’t inquire about changing the sizing to 14 because as far as I knew Cartier only comes in 15 cm, with the exception of Baby Loves that can be shortened, but I figured pieces that don’t have a chain like the JUC can’t be altered. Does anyone know if resizing is available?

I also had a separate question about 24/7 wear of the JUC. Since I only tried it on for a minute, I couldn’t gauge. Does the nailhead / “main” motif ever twist/fall to the side so that only the plain wire is showing at the top of the wrist? I’ve read about the rings on the Baby Love weighing down the chain and turning it and was (irrationally) worried that the JUC might also do the same somehow?

Finally...how does it do with getting caught on things? I don’t anticipate wearing it with sweaters but I did see someone say the tip of hers would randomly catch onto people’s clothes or hair in crowded spaces and it actually bent her wire out of shape. With how much $$ JUCs are I don’t want to risk that!

Hi hi - small JUC owner here. I have a size 15 and it does not twist around on my wrist ever. It did snag on a loose thread on my towel last night but unless you literally yank it off forcefully I don’t see how it could bend out of shape. The thread got caught on the nail head and I just removed not. However for someone who wears a lot of knit/crochet stuff I might not recommend it as it’s just asking for trouble. I love it though lol. Also! If you stack it between two other bracelets it never snags. And even alone the snagging has only happened once

IMO getting the right size JUC is critical to avoid issues. Everyone’s wrist is shaped differently so circumference measure doesn't tell the whole story. If the 14 is still too big and you really love it, maybe a SO. I wear mine daily and no issues but I do pay attention when putting on and taking off clothing, and pat not rub with towels. Good luck!

Hello!

The lovely Chase Amie just did a review on her JUC for small wrists.
Linking below you:

To be honest, it does get caught occasionally in the winter on loose knit clothing, blankets, or any loose woven woolen things. Doesn’t happen much at all and most of the time it seems to snap right back into shape from the “open” position. Don’t think it ruins clothing or bags though.

They do carry size 14 sm juc now.
https://www.cartier.com/en-us/colle...elets/b6062517-juste-un-clou-bracelet-sm.html Definitely ask your SA about trying on a size 14. If that is still too big, I know Cartier does custom sizing at about 30ish% price increase. Someone correct me if I’m mistaken.

My wrist is 14cm and I wear a 15 sm juc. It fits bigger than my love bracelets but that was the only option at the time of my purchase. With that said, the nail head part has never twisted to the side or to the underside of my arm on its own, even though I can turn it all the way around if I wanted to.

As far as everyday wear goes, it does get snagged on knit sweaters, cardigans and sometimes towels. I’ve become mindful of it though. The only time I take it off is when I’m putting on a mattress cover, when I know my arm is going underneath something heavy
