Hi Cartier lovers! I need your help.. just yesterday I walk in to Cartier to purchase the JUC necklace, but I did try the Trinity too with diamond, I walk out with the trinity! But now I’m contemplating if I should keep the trinity or exchange it to JUC..

just because I feel JUC is much more popular and a bit more recognizable.. I do love the JUC but I feel the trinity is more classy :p now I’m confused.. because if I keep my trinity I am pretty sure I will go back to Cartier in the future and purchase the JUC necklace as well

They are both beautiful—just different looks as you describe, and you wear them equally well. I would also have a tough time deciding, but I dress more casually and would lean towards the JUC (and I have the ring). Not to say the trinity couldn’t be worn casually but the diamonds make it look more formal IMO.

The reasons that you give for the JUC (being more popular and more recognizable) and the reason for the trinity (more classy) are both reasons that do not justify a purchase, in my opinion. I can flip that around a say that the JUC is classic to Cartier's brand and history and that the overall design and look of the trinity itself is quite popular as well from many brands, so what makes it more special than let's say Tiffany's version?
Personally, buying something because it is more popular or recognizable or is more classy cannot triumph over what makes one's heart sing and what fits with one's aesthetic. (I can see why people buy something classy for versatility and longevity but loving it is a priority that makes it more valuable to you than to anyone else.)
If you truly do love both, and will eventually get both, then why are you questioning your purchase in the first place?

that is very true.. thanks for your help! I do love both but it’s just so hard to decide on which one I should get first, as I don’t want to spend too much :p but I agree which one that I love more and the most valuable to me is the most important

This do makes me think more, I commute on a daily basis with a train sometimes I feel a bit unsafe to wear a lot of jewelry that will caught people’s eyes.. the JUC is a lot more casual for sure and the diamond too small for people to spot :p

I just pull my sleeves down and my collar up in those situations!
