Thanks John 5, yes, they did! There is a pen-knife gash all the way across the middle of the box cover but I am way past upset as they had held it for 5 days & I was just happy to hold it before me. I was a stickler for perfect boxes but oh well, the bag is fine!

Medusa, I feel ya. The UK custom actually made my colleague threw away my box when he brought my birkin back for me. So it was backed with no box at all! Needless to say, I was extremely upset because I am someone who needs to keep all my bags in their respective boxes.
