Jordaan Loafers: Leather/Velvet/Other

Hi all,

I'm in the market for some Jordaan loafers. I tried them on and they were so comfy I fell in love. I'm having a hard time deciding between velvet and leather. I'm wondering how well do these age? My current favorite loafers are from Louboutin and after 4 years the leather still looks great.

Of these options, which would you choose?

Your not going mad. Ha! I’ve had that happen to me where I comment and it disappears then somehow reappears later. Some kind of glitch with the site I suppose.

Love them all. However, if your looking for longevity I suppose leather option would be best.

It's okay. I found the entire original thread through looking through OP"s posts but it's gone 'ghost'. Absolutely no way of getting it back.

Let me know if that happens to you again - especially on Gucci forum, see what I can do.

Back to T, I always think it's best to get black leather versions of shoes first if they're in the running (no pun intended).

I think I'm going to start with the black leather and later venture to others. Can't go wrong with classics!
