OOOH, nice grab! That color is gorgeous. It looks like it might be rouille (paprika), which is a stunning red-orange color that I don't see often on the second-hand market. If so, that means it would be a 2007 bag made of chevre-- one of the best years for Bal leather.
Thank you for admiring my new Day. This morning I found all the original tags tucked in the front zippered pocket. What a nice surprise! My bag is from 2009 and I have determined that the color is Mandarine

Glad the tags were in there. I didn’t know about a 2009 Mandarine. What a beautiful color. The 2009 Agneaus are also very nice leathers IMO.

Hi
I’ve always loved the Day style,
I’ve found a Giant Balenciaga day New Never used from 2009
The seller listed it as Black but when i’ve received it, it seems not as a rich black as my B work from 2015, it seems more like anthracite... the code on the card says 2009 173081 d94jn 1118
It’s Black or not ? Thank you ;)

i'd confirm authenticity first, to be honest
paper card does not indicate the colour code

if you are not sure of the colour, maybe it was re-dyed?
black would state 1000 on the back of the tag (if at all, not all older bags had the colour code)
It’s not re-dyed because it’s new never used. It’s simply a different kind of black that my work (that’s different also from my B Hip)
I just want to know If it’s normal a different shade of Black during the years, more or less saturated
I’ll check the tag Thank you !

Day fans, my 07 day arrived. What a great style! I love how it sits on the shoulder and how comfy it is while also capable of holding so many things. Why oh why did Bal stop making this style?

AFF advertises this as anthra. Looking at the season number on the tag suggests that this is Plomb (if 3=F/W). Either way it is a chameleon, shifting color all the time. Here she is! I want about 5 more Days!

I know this post is very old (from 2018!) but the tag in the photo is for a RH City, not a RH Day.

From the reference thread here:
Day RH [140442]
13 x 16 x 5
leather tag only 213048
S/S 05 - present

Thanks for responding! Someone else pointed that out to me as well. And the color code on the bag is for anthracite, so I figured that FP had the wrong tag for it.

Good morning,
I consider to buy this day bag (320 euro) via „ebay kleinanzeigen. please, could you check if it is authentic?
thanks in advance and kind regards!
